Archives: FAQs
How far is the waterfall from your car park?
The waterfall is accessible via the woodland walk and is approximately 1 mile long / 30-minute walk.
Please ensure you keep the track clear, waste and dog-poo free and keep dog on leads.
What time is last entry?
Last entry is 30 minutes before closing time. This changes twice yearly. Check our Opening Times page for more information.
What footwear should I have on?
We advise appropriate footwear, including wellies/waterproofs, as the paths and trails are as nature intended: with lumps, bumps, holes, slopes, mud and steps!
We no longer supply wellington boots.
Do you cater for vegetarian/vegan/gluten free?
Yes, our café caters for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets.
Can I take a pushchair or scooter on the woodland walk / what if I have walking difficulties?
The path for the woodland walk is not suitable for pushchairs or scooters or people with walking difficulties.
Are dogs allowed?
We love animals so well behaved dogs are very welcome in the woodland and main waterfall area. Please keep them on leads whilst on site and ensure you poo-pick after your dog. This is for the sake of all folk…
It is the responsibility of each dog owner to ensure their animal does not disturb the peace and calm surrounding the waterfalls and fellow visitors, with either constant barking or bad behaviour. Please respect nature, visitors, staff, residents and our community.
