Accessibility at St Nectan’s Glen
St Nectan’s Glen is a beautiful Temperate Rainforest site with a waterfall, walking routes, and historical features. Due to the steep and uneven terrain, the path leading to the waterfall is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs, and those with mobility difficulties may find access challenging. The woodland walk from our car park on the B3263 is approximately a mile and includes natural and man-made steps, as well as areas of mud, tree roots, and stones.
At present, we are unable to introduce ramps or make significant structural adjustments to the path due to the woodland nature of the site, but we remain committed to improving accessibility wherever practicably possible.
We are currently working with AccessAble to provide a detailed accessibility guide, offering visitors a clear understanding of the terrain and facilities. This comprehensive report will be published soon, and we look forward to sharing it.
